Affidavits and Transfers

Affidavits and Transfers are processes related to student enrollment and placement within Tomball Independent School District (Tomball ISD). Here are brief definitions of each:

Affidavits

In certain cases, families may need to establish residency within the Tomball ISD boundaries. If a family resides with another family or individual within the district's boundaries, they can complete an Affidavit to demonstrate their residency. The Affidavit serves as a legal document stating that they are living with the designated resident and are within the district's attendance area.

Transfers

Transfers refer to requests made by families to have their child attend a school other than their assigned or zoned campus. Reasons for Transfer requests may include specific academic programs, family circ*mstances, or other considerations. Transfers are subject to the district's policies, capacity of the requested school, and other relevant factors. The district evaluates transfer requests based on various criteria and makes decisions accordingly.

It's important to note that specific procedures, requirements, and guidelines for Affidavits and Transfers may vary within Tomball ISD. Families are encouraged to reach out to the Student Services team or consult the district's official documentation for detailed information and instructions regarding these processes.
