Looking for roomies - Los Altos - Hwy 85/280 off Foothill (2024)

We (David and I) are looking for 1 or 2 mature people to help make up the loss of 2 roomates, that means $2800 needed. Perferable a quite non-smoking clean considerate person. The price is related to the amount of space rented for each. Or we will have to leave this great house and peaceful neighborhood.

Well, here is my challenge. 2 of my roomates have gaven notice they are moving out of town in a week. So I'm just posting and lets see what happens with this.

I rent a big beautiful house in Los Altos. 5 rooms, 3 baths, 2 livingrooms, 2 fireplaces, hot tub, 3 car garage with landscaped backyard. Excellent access to Hwy 85 and 280 off of foothill. Some of you may have seen the house at the last New Years party. The only parties here were the NewYears and Halloween. Otherwise we just work all the time.

See if some of this can work for you. It's more than just a room for rent. It's a great big house in a great neighbohood with a big garage and nice yard with big patio.

We have the following to offer:
- 3 bedrooms available for rent:
-2 of them are upstairs and would share a large Full bath with 2 sinks and has full towel closet. You could rent both, one for storage or study? or 2 friends rent and share bathroom. (That's what I did for 3 years)
-1 bedroom is downstairs with a larger closet and a bathroom with a shower (no tub).
+ we have 2 livingrooms 1 could be yours. We don't really use it and it won't have any furniture.

+ the formal diningroom was changed to an office. It could be your hobbie room, office, games, reading room or ? Otherwise the "diningroom" is usually wasted space. The livingroom and diningroom are half of downstair. You should be able to have your "space".

+we can only share 1 of the 3 car garage slots since we have all of our motorcycles too. There is some storage in the garage in the rafters and the attic if needed.

FYI - I do have one dog. No more pets please. Oh and there are wild rabbits in the front yead kind of cute.

Im working at Tesla in palo alto for the next 6 months (School internship). Im currently living in Milpitas but im not really liking the commute thus far.

Also know of two other interns at Tesla looking for a place to stay for atleast 8 months. PM me if you think we might be a good fit. Thanks

MTBSully Also are the rooms furnished? Bedrooms not furnished. The 2nd livingroom and diningroom won't be furnished. We have 2 livingrooms. We do have a kitchen table in another dining area. I do have a big screen TV.
